Dailing wins men's golf title at Carthage

The Carthage Golf Club held its 54th Annual Carthage Amateur Tournament, a part of the Western Illinois Golf Association Tournament.

Mike Dailing of Quincy won the men's championship flight with a 103. Churck Droste of West Burlington, Iowa, was second with a 104. DeWayne Blair of Macomb was third with a 104. Max Rodeffer of Hamilton and Jeff Hammel of Keokuk, Iowa, rounded out the top five with 105s.

Phoebe Wear won the women's division with a 101.

Connor Rothert won the high school division with a 79.
