College fishing tournament shares river on Saturday

The National Guard FLW College Fishing Mississippi River event is the country's largest tournament fishing competition for college bass clubs where college clubs compete for scholarships and prizes and a chance to compete in the $2.5 million Forrest Wood Cup in 2010.

This event is Saturday, Aug. 22, with takeoff at 5:30 a.m. from Captain Kirk's Marina in Fort Madison, Iowa. Weigh-in is at 1:30 p.m.
