Planning for the Future Dinner
Hancock County Farm Bureau teamed up with Memorial Hospital Foundation to provide estate planning information to roughly 40 Hancock County Farm Bureau Farming Members. This dinner was held on Thursday, March 14, at Lake Hill Winery in Carthage. Guest speakers included Brenda Matherly and Alyssa Stewart. Brenda Matherly, Illinois Farm Bureau Director of Local Government, spoke about financial planning, Farmland Assessment Act, and the effect of property tax bills. Alyssa Stewart, Managing Partner at ARP Law, discussed estate planning and establishing a will.
